So I completely forgot this comm existed, or else I would've posted about this sooner...

I've been buying the Seven Seas re-release of the PSOH manga, and doing a chapter-by-chapter reread, including comparisons of which things were translated differently in the original Tokyopop release.

Find the whole thing in the PSOH tag on my journal! I'm up to Flowers, The Detective, and The Detective's Little Brother (which is "chapter 33" in the 7S release). That's most of the way through volume 6 of the re-release, and volume 7, the last one, comes out next month.

It led to some speculation about the rumored Pet Shop of Horrors live-action movie licensed by Rogue Pictures (The Strangers; Shaun of the Dead).

I personally don't know what to think. I mean, if you ask me, all I would want is for TokyoPop to bring the original series back into print.

I remembered rather abruptly today that I had done two pieces of Count D fanart. The first is one of my early forays into chibi-art, and the second is a pencil line drawing that I had, originally, intended to color. For some reason, though, my color file is missing. I find that quite suspicious....

Well, I don't have any fiction at present, but I do have a couple of other things.

First -- an article I wrote about Pet Shop of Horrors for Pink Raygun.

Second -- a short review I did of the Matsuri Akino artbook. It has several images that some might not have seen (in color, anyway).

I always thought there was something missing - a PSoH Dreamwidth community. :] Well, that's remedied now.

I want to say hello to everyone who shares this fandom with me. It may be an older and slightly obscure fandom, but Pet Shop of Horrors is my favorite manga of all time.
